Liv Amiri

Liv Amiri is the submissions coordinator and literary editor for Poetry4Progress. She is sixteen-year-old writer who attends Crossroads High School in Santa Monica. She has been previously recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, as well as the Beyond Words Literary Magazine. Liv is also a resident columnist for Story Monsters Ink, as well as an intern as a script reader for Stampede Ventures. She is currently drafting a collection of poetry titled Sleepwalkers Like the Sun, to be published this fall. At school, Liv champions literary freedom through a Banned Books Club that she heads, which will explore issues such as censorship and the suppression of educational resources and diverse themes in the literary and publishing world.
