they give use slips of who

we used to be not who

they see for they can't

forsee

they can't look at the

rearview of our past they

say, we are stripped and

starry-eyed but our eyes

can't scintillate

when our pupils reflect on a

truth we didn't choose a

the world we didn't decide on
